	Enclosure Types   Type 2 This enclosure is designed to prevent entry of falling water into the enclosure.  Gutters along the top of the enclosure and overlapping joints prevent dripping water from entering the enclosure.  This is primarily an indoor enclosure. Type 3R This enclosure is designed to prevent enty of rain or water falling at an angle from entering the enclosure.  If water does enter, it will drain out preventing buildup inside the enclosure.  Extra Gasketing along with rain gutters and overlapping joints will prevent rain from gathering inside the enclosure.  The Emergency Lever is sealed with gasket materials and special tapered operator.  This is an outdoor type enclosure. Type 12 This enclosure is designed to prevent entry of dust into the enclosure.  Extra gasketing and overlapping joints along with bottom plates work together to prevent entry of dust into the enclosure.  The Emergency Lever is sealed with gasket materials and special tapered operator.  This is an indoor type enclosure. Type 4P The Type 4P enclosure is a totally sealed enclosure, some with removable back cover to allow mounting of normal controller inside the 4P enclosure.  This enclosure is designed to prevent the entry of blowing rain or hose directed water from any angle.  Materials are standard steel painted with a corrosion resistant powder coat paint process.  Emergency Lever and other operators are located inside the water tight enclosure. Type 4X The Type 4X enclosure is a totally sealed enclosure, some with removable back cover to allow mounting of normal controller inside the 4X enclosure.  This enclosure is designed to prevent the entry of blowing rain or hose directed water from any angle.  Materials are 304 Stainless Steel non-painted.  Emergency Lever and other operators are located inside the water tight enclosure.
